St Mary's -- changing lives thousands of miles away

St Mary's Church in Tuxedo New York, USA is a dear friend and supporter of Carryou Ministry and over the years has done much to ease the plight of kids and families in Randfontein.
 Last year was no exception!
Our wonderful supporter, Sue Heywood, a member of St Mary's sent us this message and pictures that she took at a recent fund-raising event. All of us at Carryou Ministry, are deeply grateful to the congregation, Sunday School and office-bearers.
Thousands of miles away, you are changing lives!

Message from Sue:

Sunday 16th December was St Mary's Festival of Lessons and Carols which is a service of nine readings, interspersed with carols, some sung by the choir, some by the choir and congregation. This was followed by our weekly coffee hour in the Parish Hall, made special by a bake sale put together by Nan Bewlay, Prudence Thurston, Pam Sutherland and the Sunday School children.
They met on the Saturday to do the baking of traditional Christmas cookies and other friends brought their specialities to sell. The proceeds are going to Carryou. The total was $1,245!
St Mary's has been supporting Carryou for about 10 years now and the children hear about the children in Randfontein who are being helped by Carryou. So much so, that instead of me telling them about Carryou, Pierce Bewlay made a presentation.
St Mary's children have photos of their Carryou friends in South Africa and all the money raised comes with love from us all.
Many , many Christmas greetings from your friends at St Mary's Church in Tuxedo, New York, USA.
