Help from afar!

Sue Heywood doing what she does best - helping people.

We were recently blessed yet again by the generosity and kindness of Sue Heywood and her network of 'angels' in the USA, when Carryou Ministry received a significant cash donation from them.
 A substantial grant was received from Amex and the Buckminster family in New York, and money was raised when a pancake breakfast was held in addition to donations from a variety of other kind people.
 The money will be used to assist needy students in Randfontein achieve education goals and provide support for a few child-headed households.
 "We are deeply grateful to these wonderful people who help and support us in our efforts to make the lives of people less fortunate better," says Rev. Lawrence Mabaso, Carryou Ministry General Manager.

The Angels bring fun and games to the kids

 It was fun and games for the kids at the Carryou Drop-in Centres at Toekomsrus and Elandsvlei when another generous donation organised by our US benefactor, Sue Heywood and her wonderful fellow angels allowed us to buy puzzles and games for both venues.
 The children were delighted and beaming faces abounded.
 "Not only are the games fun but they will also help stimulate and teach the kids vital skills," says Rev. Lawrence Mabaso, Carryou Ministry General manager.
 "Our rewards are lots of beaming smiles and, partnering the Carryou ministry in giving friendship, joy, peace, love, faith, and hope to hundreds of children, patients and families," says Sue.
