Our US benefactor, Sue Heywood and her team of angels, once again brightened the lives of desperately needy people in Randfontein.
Sue raised R10 000 that was used to buy food parcels for 35 impoverished households and to provide a little Christmas cheer.
"The households we selected to receive the aid were in dire need, as they contained either very ill people or no one in the family was employed," says Mzi Tshikitsha, Programme Manger at Carryou Ministry.
"The donation could not have come at a better time. There were tears of joy when we delivered the parcels and many were overcome with emotion. Patients thanked God and expressed appreciation that Sue and the friends of Carryou in the US are so dedicated and work so tirelessly to ensure that people, far away, do not go to sleep hungry."
